Eva Stone

Eva Mae Stone age 87 of Delaware, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and faithful servant of the Lord, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, June 23, 2011. She was born January 15, 1924 at Delaware to the late Ambrose Richard and Louella Parsons Johnson. She was a line worker for Simmons Mattress Company for 19 years and Package Corp of America for 11 years. She was a member of the Highland Assembly of God Church in Indiana for 54 years and was a Sunday School Teacher for 45 years before becoming a member of the Delaware Assembly of God Church. She is preceded in death by her great grandson, William Stone; son-in-law, Phillip Ball and 8 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Twila Stone of Lake Station, Indiana; daughter, Gail Ball of Delaware; sister, Mary Hux of Lubbock, TX; three grandchildren, Darrell Stone and Pauline of Indiana, Anita Haag of Delaware and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 10:00A.M., Monday, June 27, 2011 at the Delaware Assembly of God Church with Rev. Bobby Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Graves Cemetery, Delaware. Visitation will be held Sunday, 2:00P.M. to 4:00P.M. at the funeral home.
