On May 28, 2023, Ferdinand Alois Becker, passed away at the age of 85.

Ferdinand was born on January 30, 1938 in Fonda, Iowa to parents, Alois F. and Mary Irene Becker.

Preceded in death by his parents, Alois F. and Mary Irene Becker, as well as two sisters, Mary Ann Schadel and Patricia Schulte.

Survived by his loving wife, Barbara K. Henley; sister, Rose Sanders and husband Larry; three children, Alois F. Becker, Elizabeth A. Chavez and husband Al, and Timothy J. Becker and wife Carrice; grandchildren, Nicholas, Abigail, Brody, Jessica, Brittany and Cody, along with several nieces and nephews.

Fred proudly served 4 years in the United States Navy where he received 2nd class E5 status, several medals and an Honorable Discharge. Ferd also worked over 35 years as a Nuclear Instrument Technician at several Nuclear Power Generation Stations.

Ferd enjoyed many things in his life such as golf, fishing, his dogs, reading and wood working, in which he was most proud of his Grand Father Clocks and had built more than 25 of them.

He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, and also attended the Presbyterian Church with his wife.

Many blessings to all whom were a part of Ferd's life. You will be missed but not forgotten.

Graveside memorial service will be held at 10:00A.M., Friday, June 2, 2023 at McFadden Cemetery in Dover.
