Flavel Charles (Budgie) Cunningham passed away at the Ola Nursing Home on February 17, 2015. He was a member of the Plainview Church of Christ and was retired from the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. He was born September 11, 1920 to the late Ervin and Mae Cunningham. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Author Lloyd Cunningham, Smokey Cunningham; one sister, Lorene Farris; two nephews, Jerry Farris and Larry Farris; two great nephews, Lance Cunningham and Robbie Crawford. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a member of the "Signal Corp" during the war. Survivors include one sister, Willene and husband Hoyt Dale of Plainview; two sisters-in-law, Mildred Cunningham and Fretta Cunningham, along with a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:30A.M., Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Plainview Church of Christ. Visitation will be held Saturday, 9:00A.M. to 10:30A.M. at the church prior to the service. Burial will be private at Salem Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rickey Crawford, Randy Crawford, David Spencer, Todd Spencer, Bryan Robinson, Bobby Robinson, Brad Humphreys, Gary Cunningham and Ronald Bradford. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Plainview Church of Christ Building Fund. Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home in Dardanelle.
