Obituary

Floyd Andrew Avery age 80 of Danville passed away Monday, February 8, 2021 at his home.

He was born October 26, 1940 in Danville, Arkansas to the late Luther Virgil & Margie R. Cross Avery. He was a Army Veteran, retired drilling superintendent for Exxon and from Avery's Farms.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lloyd Avery; sister, Carol Owens; daughter-in-law, Lisa Avery.

Survivors include his son, Mark & Lynn Avery; wife, Katherine Avery of Booneville; grandsons, Scott Avery and Shaun Avery; step-grandchildren, Stefanie Traigle, Kassidy Traigle, and Mitchell Traigle; great-grandchildren, Landon Avery, Triston Avery and Breann Avery; great-greatgrandchildren, Aurora Standridge, Easton Johnston; granddaughter-in-law, Camille Yandell; nephew Jason & Denise Owens.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday February 11, 2021 at the New Life Christian Center with Rev W.A. Gorman and Frank Miller officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Macadonia Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Landon Avery, Triston Avery, Jason Owens, Frank Miller, Nick Taylor and Shaun Avery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children Hospital or Christian Broadcast Network.
