Floyd H "Cutt" Chilcoat, age 82 of Russellville, passed away Wednesday December 21, 2022 at Baptist Health Center in Little Rock. He was born to Charles and Lucille Chilcoat on August 11, 1940 in Alvada, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, John & Park Chilcoat.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years Rose Chilcoat of Russellville; one son, Todd Chilcoat of Branson, Missouri. One daughter and son in law, Shelli & Rick Taylor of Russellville. Grandchildren, Trevor & wife Brooke Taylor. Madison & husband Andrew Cope. Bryce & wife Amanda Chilcoat. Ty & wife Kayla Chilcoat. Great Grandchildren, Gemma & Gabe Taylor. Raelynn & Olivia Chilcoat.

Floyd retired in 1982 from the US Navy at the rank of Sr. Chief after 20 years of service. Military Honors include four Good Conduct Awards; National Defense Service Medal; Navy Unit Commendation; Comsubron One Commendation; Navy Expeditionary Medal; Sea Service Ribbon Second Award; Battle Efficiency "E". After his military service he worked at and later retired from Arkansas Nuclear One where he was an I&C Technician.

He was also an avid woodworker and utilized his skills to build elaborate trains, trucks, rocking horses and furniture. Often times as gifts for his grandchildren and children who attended the same church.

Celebration of Life service will be held at Restoration Worship Center where he was a longtime member. Services will begin at 6 pm, Tuesday December 27, 2022 with Pastor James Findley officiating. Burial and full military ceremony will be at the National Cemetery in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at 10 am, on Wednesday December 28, 2022.
