Floyd Edmon Emberson age 87 of Dardanelle died Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home. He was born January 3, 1932 at Blue Mountain, Arkansas to the late Monroe and Naomi L. Witt Emberson. Floyd loved being outdoors working with horses, cattle, wagons and mowing the yard. He also loved working with his hands, building and tinkering with things. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruby Emberson; two sons, Bob Parker, Jim Parker; one daughter, Sherry Wilker and his siblings, Wilma Floyd, Daniel Emberson, Ray Emberson, Robert Emberson, Olene Curry, Charles Emberson and Sybil Vodrazka.

Survivors include one sister, Francis Eaton; two grandsons, Josh Wilker, Ben Wilker; his companion, Sarah Mayfield and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Monday, March 18, 2019 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Burial will be Upper Spring Creek Cemetery in Belleville. Visitation will be held Monday, 1:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. at the chapel prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Ben Wilker, Josh Wilker, Larry Klober, Larry Emberson, Mitch Emberson and Brad Halsell.
