Frances Elaine Luker Roberts, 55, of Plainview Arkansas passed from this life to be with her heavenly father on February 13, 2012. She was born September 26, 1956 in Dumas, Arkansas to the late Clyde and Bertha Luker of Plainview Arkansas. She was preceded in death by two sister, Kay James and Faye Henley, a nephew Lance James all of Garrett Bridge Arkansas, a sister-in-law Sandra Luker of Star City Arkansas. Loved ones left behind to cherish her memory includes her husband, Ron Roberts of 21 years, her daughter Melissa Roberts both of Plainview Arkansas, three brothers Clifford Luker of Onyx Arkansas, (wife Cynthia), Kenneth Luker of Star City, Arkansas (wife Brinda) and Danny Luker of Star City Arkansas, four sisters Carolyn Vanzandt of Ft. Smith Arkansas (husband Paul), Emy Conner of Star City (husband Leo), Velma Hunter of Star City Arkansas (husband Charles) and Cindy Day of Centerville Arkansas (husband Vernon), a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends and co-workers and her beloved dog Sally. She was loved by many. Frances was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt and nurse. She was known for her love to help others and words cannot express how wonderful she was and she will be greatly missed by all. She was employed at the Yell county Nursing Home for 25 years and was loved by all her patients. Pallbearers are Clifford Luker, Kenneth Luker, Danny Luker, Scott Conner, Drew Conner, Jeffrey Hunter, Colby Luker and Daniel Luker. Honorary pallbearers are Stoney Luker, Eddie Vanzandt and David Vanzandt. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday February 17, 2012 at Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel in Danville with John Fuqua officiating. Burial will be at Hunts Chapel Cemetery in Rover. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. before service.
