Obituary

Frank Eugene Ray, 92, of Delaware was born May 7, 1926 to Whitney and Bessie Ray of Cookeville, Tennessee. He joined our Lord Jesus in heaven surrounded by his immediate family on October 31, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and four sisters.

He served his country in World War ll as a Sergeant Tech 4, of the U.S. Army 3 rd Armor Division. He retired from Michigan Consolidated Gas Company after 30 years of service. He was a longtime member of Bay Ridge Country Club and a member of Faith Church in Dardanelle. He loved golf, gardening and attending church.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Joyce (Gray) Ray. They were married in Detroit, Michigan. One brother, David Ray (Debbie) of Phoenix, Arizona. Three children Kathy Ray (Gordon) of Russellville, Patricia Berry (Dave) of Monroe, Michigan, Duane Ray (Treasea) of Dardanelle. Six grandchildren Dan Fazekas, Amy Gessner, Tiffany Berry, Melanie Duby all of Michigan, Brittney Reed and Matthew Ray of Dardanelle and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the Faith Church in Dardanelle with Bro. Haskel Everson and Bro. James Turner officiating. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle. Visitation will be held Friday, 5:30P.M. to 7:30P.M. at the Cornwell Funeral Home in Dardanelle.

Pallbearers will be Robert Dunn, Kurt Reed, Gordon Wagonis, Duane Ray & Dave Berry.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Pfeifer, Jack Richey, Hoyt Crow, John Parker, Larry Selby, Tom Jackson, Gary Brown, Johnny Boren and Max Ramsey.
