Fred Eugene Bland age 78 of Belleville passed away Friday, September 17, 2021 at V.A. Hospital in Little Rock after a long battle with heart disease.
Fred was born March 16, 1943 in Danville, Arkansas to the late Loyd R. & Luna Denton Bland. He was a Army Vietnam Veteran, he was a member of the Wilson Freewill Baptist Church, lifetime member of the DAV and American Legion. He was retired from Firestone and a retired poultry farmer. Fred loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He loved to pray. He called family, friends, and neighbors and prayed with them daily as his outreach for Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Leo Bland, Clarence "Peanut" Bland and James Bland; sisters, Lois Lane, Elva Dean Farnsworth and Faye Chappell.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Wanda Bland; children, Jarrod & Suzanne Bland of Belleville; Connie & Stephen Wagner of Belleville; Justin & Amanda Bland of Belleville; brother, Wayne & Dean Bland of Fort Smith; sisters, Mary & Dale Knight of Belleville; Sue & James Hood of Bryant; sister-in-law, Anita Bland of Belleville; brothers-in-law, C.H. & Clara Woodall of Waldron; Bobbie & J.D. Graham of Waldron; Jimmy Woodall of Havana; Kineth & Pam Woodall of Baton Rouge, LA.; Johnny & Linda Woodall of Ozark; grandchildren, Curtis and Tricia Bland of Russellville; Courtney & Aaron Ulmer of Danville; Cayla Bland, Chloe Bland of Belleville; Shelby & Anthony Randolph of Belleville; Seth & Mackenzie Wagner of Morrilton; Kaitlin Bland, Ashley Bland and Tyler Bland of Belleville; great-grandchildren, Avreigh and Kinleigh Randoph; Killian and Natalie Ulmer.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Monday, September 20, 2021 at the Wilson Freewill Baptist Church with Bro Jeff Henderson officiating.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Russell Cemetery in Belleville.
Pallbearers include Curtis Bland, Seth Wagner, Tyler Bland, Anthony Randolph and Aaron Ulmer.
