Freda Mae Barnett age 86 of Dardanelle died Monday, February 19, 2018 at Dardanelle Nursing and rehab Center. She was born March 25, 1931 at Logan County to the late Murray and Mabel Garner Whitecotton. She attended the Delaware First Baptist Church and loved going to garage sales, talking on the phone and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herbert Barnett; one brother, Lindsey Whitecotton; two sisters, Ola Jean Rollans and Joyce Hampton.

Survivors include her children, Glinda Davis (Richard) of New Blaine, Derrel Barnett (Debbie) of Delaware; grandchildren, Shannon McGuire (David) of Dardanelle, Amanda Wurst (Ardon) of Harkey Valley, Jade Wade (Chris) of Delaware and great grandchildren, Harley Southerland (J.T.) of Harkey Valley, Sydney Thomas of Dardanelle, Sofie Thomas of Dardanelle and Tice Thomas of Dardanelle.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Bro. Jeff Smith officiating. Burial will be in Durvin Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at the chapel.

Pallbearers will be Ardon Wurst, David McGuire, Lane McGuire, J.T. Southerland, Chris Wade and Austen Cathcart.
