Garland Alseen "AL" George, age 82 of Dardanelle, passed away Friday, January 13, 2023 at Dardanelle Regional Medical Center. He was born June 18, 1940 in Transylvania, Louisiana to the late Garland A. George Sr. and Ida Estelle Adams George. He was a member of the Ard Church of Christ and United States Army Veteran. Garland was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Hazel Miller George; two brothers, Larry James George, Loyd George; stepson, Derek Webb and a step great granddaughter, Hannah Ingold.

Survivors include his wife, Lila George of Atkins; daughter, Judy Foley (Paul) of Fort Smith; son, Joe George (Chi) of Peterson AFB, Colorado Springs, Colorado; three step children, Danny Webb, Dennis Webb, Darrell Webb (Stacy); sister, Anna  Jo Crump (Ralph) of Portland, Oregon; four sisters in law, Frances George of Bartlett, Tennessee, Margaret Edwards of Dardanelle and Leora Thaxton of Dardanelle and Martha Miller of Pine Bluff; one brother in law, Kent Miller (Shirley) of Coleman, South Dakota; one step daughter in law, Jana Webb of Atkins; grandsons, Aaron Foley, Evan Foley of Fort Smith, Alex George of Colorado Springs, Colorado; granddaughter, Isabella Cardo of Colorado Springs, Colorado; eight step grandchildren, Chrissy Webb (Michael), Angela Ingold (Eddie), Breta Morrison (Bo), Staci Webb, Traci Webb, Derek Webb, Alex Haney (Garrett), Sydney Haney (Seth); five step great grandchildren, Kyle Ingold, Karissa Webb, Brady Morrison, Brooklyn Maggard and three step great great Grandchildren, Jace Johnson, Leilani Ingold and Kailana Ingold and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Monday, January 16, 2023 at Mt. George Church of Christ with Bro. Bill Land officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, 1:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. at the church prior to the service. Burial will be private in Mt. George Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Foley, Evan Foley, Kyle Rollans, John Thaxton, Larry Bowden and Eddie Ingold.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jace Johnson, Leilani Ingold and Kailana Ingold.
