Garlen "Twain" Willis age 91 of Gravelly passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Chambers Memorial Hospital.
Twain was born July 5, 1930 in Gravelly, Arkansas to the late John Allen & Ila Bertha McCormack Willis. He was a Korean War Army Veteran, he attended the Gravelly Methodist Church, he was a retired Agriculture Teacher for 30 years. He was a member of the VFW Fisher Law Post 8525, FFA Foundation, Farm House Fraternity, and 20 Year Club of Agriculture Instructors.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jonnie Gillum Willis; parents; brother, Glynn Willis.
Survivors include his daughters, Pam & Mark Barton of Fayetteville, AR.; Paula & Vernon Garrett of Wetumpka, AL.; grandchildren, Alisha & Michael Driver, Brandon & Cassie Garrett, Stephanie Garrett, and Cole Barton; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Levi Driver; Preston and Gracyn Garrett,
Graveside service will be 2:30 Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Parks Cemetery in Nola with Mark Barton and Vernon Garrett officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 pm Saturday February 19 at the Gravelly United Methodist Church.
Pallbearers include Brandon Garrett, Cole Barton, Michael Driver, John T. Honey, James Aikman, Chris Pierce, Bob Bouffleur and Justin Abernathy.
Memorials may be made to your local FFA Chapter of your choice or Gravelly United Methodist Church.
