Gary Lynn Davis age 77 of Danville passed away Monday, June 23,

2025 at Mitchells Nursing Home.

Gary was born May 25, 1948 in Danville, Arkansas to the late Charles &

Margaret Ann Swilling Davis. He was a member of the Danville

Methodist Church. Gary enjoyed his grandsons, and being with family.

He loved sports and especially the Razorbacks and Danville Little Johns.

But most of all he loved his Lord and Savior.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kevin Davis; sister, Judy

Gilkey.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Mary Sue Davis, son & daughter-

in-law-, Lance & Schanta Davis; sisters-in-law, Ann Powers and Clara

"SheShe" Ellis; brother-in-law, Jimmy Gilkey; uncle & aunt, Rocky &

Kim Foster, aunt Corine Stapleton; niece Cindy & Kelly Conley;

nephew, Russell & Tracey Gilkey; grandsons, Jace, Brayden & Braxton

Davis; and his fur babies Little John and Heidi and a host of family and

friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at the Danville Methodist Church with Bro. Corey Conrad officiating. Burial will be at Earl Ladd Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Melvin Bottoms, Phil Moudy, Eddy Bruce, Tom

Gilkey, John Stafford and Bobby Chambers.

Honorary pallbearers include Mark Maughn, and the Havana Class of

1966.

Family wishes to thank, Chambers Memorial Hospital, Mitchells

Nursing Home, and Arkansas Hospice for all of their loving care.
