Gary Lee Dawson age 64 of Havana passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.

He was born April 13, 1952 in Danville Kentucky to the late Billy Edward & Patsy Lou Carter Dawson. He was an Army Vietnam Veteran and a retired electrician.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Paul Dawson and John Dawson.

Survivors include his wife Claudea Gasser-Dawson; children, Sarah Powell of Havana; Joy Dawson of California; Nicholas Dawson of Indiana; Cody Dawson of Nevada; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Billy Eugene Dawson of Havana; Jerry Timothy Dawson of Centerville; Dan Dawson of Illinois; Mike Dawson of Illinois; sisters, Kim Holtz of Illinois; Brenda Sztuba of Illinois and numerous nephews and nieces.

Memorial service will be 10 am Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Danville Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Graham officiating.
