Gary Kent Moles, age 68 of Delaware, passed away February 27, 2022 at Russellville Nursing and Rehab. He was born June 13, 1953 at Russellville, Arkansas to the late Kenneth Moles and Ellen Garner Moles. He was the fire chief of the Delaware Fire Department for over 20 years, a member of the Yell County Mounted Patrol, and he served over 30 years in law enforcement in Yell County. He was also a Ham Operator and he loved to fish. Gary Loved his kids and his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Tami Moles of Delaware; three children, Kevin and Tonya Moles of Delaware, Kendall and Juanita Moles of Benton, Charity and Ben King of Centerville and grandchildren, Madalyne, Kody, Kaleb and Keegan Moles, Samuel, Daniel, Isaac and Jesse King.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at the Centerville Assembly of God Church with Rev. Ben King officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at the church. Burial will be in Graves Cemetery in Delaware.
Pallbearers will be Rich Bailey, Edward Parks, Tim Gerhin, Roger Trusty, Stephen Downum and Stephen Whitley.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the members of the Delaware Volunteer Fire Department and the Yell County Mounted Patrol.
