Geneva Clark
Geneva Clark age 79 of Mena died Monday, April 24, 2017 at her daughter and son in laws home in Russellville. She was born June 21, 1937 in Cotton Valley, Louisiana to the late Irby Love and Lydia Rigdon Foster.
Geneva married William M. Clark on February 28, 1958 in Shreveport, Louisiana. They spent many years in Auburn, New York where they built their own home. Geneva was employed by General Electric for over twenty years. Upon retirement they moved to Mena, Arkansas in 1991. Geneva loved her family and home. She had the most beautiful yard and flowers. She cultivated beauty in her own unique way that friends and family admired and appreciated as special to her. Geneva and Bill enjoyed travel together during retirement. She loved spending time with her grandsons and was excited to share time with them from infancy to aduthood.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Clark; siblings, Edwina Veach, Geniece Rindfleisch, David Foster and Kenneth Foster.
She is survived by her only daughter, Billie Ann Fronczek (Matt) of Russellville; her siblings Lynda Kay Gann, Paula Pinkard (George), Lynn Foster (Melinda), Alvin Foster (Faye), Marvin Foster, Katherine McCain (Gordon) and Garland Foster (Shirley); two grandchildren, Adam Fronczek of California and Daniel Fronczek (Jessica) of Dover; special nieces, Karin Kahler (Martin) and Elaine Rindfleisch.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00A.M., Friday, April 28, 2017 at Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel in Dardanelle. The prayer service will be led by her brother Pastor Lynn Foster. An additional small gathering will be at Geneva's home in Mena, Arkansas to celebrate her life this June. The family wants to thank Arkansas Hospice for the loving care they showed during this difficult time. Geneva had a special son-in-law (Matt) who she adored. He provided tender loving care during her illness. He held a special place in her heart.
