Genevieve J. Hathaway, age 82 of Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024. She was born September 27, 1941 in South Sioux City, Nebraska to the late Eugene Walding and Gladys May Roan Walding. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Little Rock. She was a Registered Nurse for 45 years working at Johnson County Medical Center and Area Agency on Aging in Clarksville. Genevieve was preceded in death by her parents; three siblings, James Walding (Rose), Gerald Walding (Roberta) and Mary Perdue (Howard).

Survivors include three children, Regina Mashburn (Rusty), Alan Short (Samantha), Kathy Fairbanks; four siblings, Marge Crosby (Bill), Dan Walding (Barbara), Mike Walding (Joy), Jeanie Douglas; five grandchildren, Mandy Carmack (Geof), Jennifer Shultz (Ryan), Aubrey Short, Nicole Bowman, James Bowman and five great grandchildren, Lauren Penn (John), Grace Carmack, Mack Shultz, Maggie Shultz and Mason Shultz.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00P.M., Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CARTI Foundation of Little Rock.
