Genevieve Spencer age 89 of Ola passed away Monday, October 8, 2018 at Deerview Nursing Home in Ola.

She was born June 21, 1929 in Dunbar, Oklahoma to the late James E. & Lola Booth Spencer. She was a 2 ^nd grade teacher for 38 years for the Plainview School.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James A. Spencer; nephew, Barton Spencer.

Survivors include her twin sister, Dee Gateley of Ola; niece & husband, Tom & Jeannie Alexander of Cordova, TN; nephew & wife, Tim and Judy Spencer of Bentonville; nephew, Paul S. Gateley of Conway; nephew & wife, Scott & Maunette Gateley of Pottsville; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Salem Church. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 pm before service at the church. Burial will be at Salem Cemetery.
