George Washington Hance age 88 of Ola passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019 at River Valley Medical Center in Dardanelle.
George was born June 20, 1930 in Needmore, Arkansas to the late Usty & Ethel Alexander Hance. He was an Air Force Veteran, a member of the Church of Christ. He was a retired poultry and cattle farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy Long Hance; son, Billy Hance; brother, Bud Hance; sisters, Hazel Robinson, and Wilma Via.
Survivors include his daughter, Loretta Hance of Casa; sons, Charles & Cindy Hance of Casa; Michael & Cindy Hance of Danville; sisters, Berniece Scruggs of Casa; Lola Smith of Plainview, Betty Tanner of Floral; brother, Luther & Ginger Hance of Casa; grandchildren, Niki Schwartz, Dusty Cochran, Chris Hance, Tara Childress, Anthony Moats and Austin Biggs; thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral service will 2 pm Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at the Dardanelle Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel with Denver Robinson officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at the Dardanelle Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Needmore Cemetery in Casa.
Pallbearers include Chris Hance, Dusty Cochran, Anthony Moats, Austin Biggs, Lane Cochran, Scott Hance, and Colby Hance.
Honorary pallbearers include Caden Hance, Bill Mitchell, Brad Drye and nephews
