George Nelson Passmore, beloved husband, daddy and Pop, age 67 of Dardanelle passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at River Valley Medical Center in Dardanelle. He will be remembered as the "Best Ever" (with apologies to those of you who think your Dad or Pop held that title). He was smart, he was funny, loving and generous. He was simply the best. He taught us everything we know about life, how to treat people and how to love them. He taught us that love shows up – because he always did. Whatever we needed, wherever we were, he was there for us.

He was a kind and gentle soul who had the respect and love of his family and immediate friends.

He was born April 3, 1951 at Shirley, Arkansas to the late George M. and Arthie O. Jolly Passmore. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Nolon Passmore and one sister, Athleen Carter.

Nelson was married to the love of his life, Hilda Passmore for 44 years. They had three girls, and then gained three sons (who will forever remain tied as the "Number One Son" in Nelson's eyes). Their children are Nikki Archer and husband Mark, Angie Madison and husband Nick, Kristy Williams and husband Michael.  Nelson was blessed with six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He cherished them all more than they will ever know. They are Corey Madison, Whitley Madison, Elaina Owens, Carter Archer, Harris Owens and Austin Archer. Great grandchildren, Easton Madison, Millie Madison He leaves behind his girls, the sisters, they spoiled him always. They are Amy Bonds, Naomi Underwood, Glenda Warren and Erma Crow. He also leaves behind, a host of many other relatives, family and friends.

We will miss him always, cherish his memory and look forward to the day we see him again.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Friday, January 18, 2019 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Visitation will be held Thursday, 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at the chapel. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Corey Madison, Nick Madison, Mark Archer, Michael Williams, Carter Archer, Austin Archer and Harris Owens.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Newell Carter, Jonathan Carter, Josh Carter, Chris Madison, Keith Crow, Mikia Moulder, John Warren and Dennis Gist.
