Obituary

George Harrison Waldo age 80 of Dover passed away Monday, May 31, 2021 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. He was born December 2, 1940 in Johnson County, Arkansas to the late James Waldo and Ester Moyer Waldo. He loved hunting, fishing and farming. He was a heavy equipment operator for over 5o years, helping to build Arkansas Nuclear One and the Wal-Mart Distribution Center. He was preceded in death by his parents; his step mother, Inez Waldo; one brother, James Von "Pete" Waldo and one sister, Linda Hollon and one son, Michael Waldo.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Betty Brown Waldo of Dover; one daughter, Sondra Cuzalina of Edmond, Oklahoma; one brother, Alfred Waldo of Lamar; three sisters, Kanna Lou Phillips (Dayne) of Clarksville, Gloria Conquist of Lamar, Erma Horman; one grandchild, Courtney Needham; one great grandchild, Giana Jones of Edmond, Oklahoma; special nephew, Jason Harness (Kate) and special great nieces, Miranda Harness Gray and Hannah Harness.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00A.M., Friday, June 4, 2021 at Owens Cemetery in Dover with Rev. Danny Green officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle.

Pallbearers will be Allen Waldo, Jason Harness, Bruce Phillips, Paul Hull, Ricky Hull and Gwen Collins.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jon Standridge, Robert Hull and Bobby Dane Phillips.
