Gerald Wayne Minnie age 75 of Danville, passed away, Thursday, December 2, 2025. He was born May 31, 1950 in Bastrop, Louisiana to the late Jerreld Minnie and Leacel Brand Minnie. He attended the Ola Church of Christ and loved hunting, fishing, and training dogs. Geral was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Ronnie Minnie; one sister, Evie Williams and a niece, Stephanie.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Billie Pickens Minnie; one son, Preston Minnie; two sisters, Linda Rose, Kay Short; two brothers, Jerry Minnie, Charlie Minnie and many nieces and nephews.
