Geraldene Duke

Geraldene Pitts Duke age 83 of Dardanelle died Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born October 12, 1932 at Harkey's Valley to the late Fred James and Vera Celesta Tucker Pitts. She was a member of the Dardanelle Missionary Baptist Church and worked as a CNA at the Dardanelle Nursing Center for over 34 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Danny Lynn Duke; one brother, Vivon R. Adkison and two sisters, Emagene Ward, Rulene Snider.

Survivors include one son, Jerry Don Duke of Dardanelle; one daughter, Debbie Myers and husband Harold of Dardanelle; one brother, Bill Pitts and wife Linda of Harkey's Valley; father of her children, Donald Duke of Dardanelle; two daughters-in-law, Lisa Duke of Dardanelle, Ann Duke of Carthage, Texas; seven grandchildren, Amber Myers, Misty Cain, Jessica Alexander, Justin Reed, Kyle Russell, Kevin Duke and wife Irias, Jerica Duke and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at the chapel.

Pallbearers will be Ken Eubanks, Darrell Berry, Mike McElmurry, Robert Cullen, Brent Hughes, Darrell Carter.
