Gladys Cornwell

Gladys McGee Cornwell age 97 of Conway, died Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Conway Regional Hospital. She was born August 10, 1913 at Atkins to the late William E. and Mary Alice Clemons McGee. She was a member of the Dardanelle First Baptist Church. She received her Bachelors Degree from Arkansas Tech University and her Masters Degree from University of Arkansas where she went on to teach in the Dardanelle and Russellville School Districts for over 30 years and she retired as the Liberian from Dardanelle School District. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lamont Cornwell Sr.

Survivors include her sons, Lamont Brinson Cornwell Jr and wife Billie of Benton, David Rush Cornwell and wife Debbie of Conway; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held 10:00A.M., Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Brearley Cemetery with Bro. Mike Smith officiating.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.
