Glenn Howard Buckman age 81 of Belleville passed away Wednesday, November 12, at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville. Glenn was born June 1, 1933 in Cedar Creek, Arkansas to the late John Gloyd and Amy Jewell Payne Buckman. He and his son, Chris owned and operated Buckman Well Drilling which was founded in 1937, by his father Gloyd Buckman. He was a member of the Havana United Methodist Church, and Belleville Christian Lodge 394. He was a Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 51 years, Willa Dale Buckman. Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Brad Buckman of Dallas, Texas; Chris and Jennifar Buckman of Belleville; daughters, Glenna Buckman of Russellville; Amy and Barton Herndon of California; grandchildren, Dallas Herndon of Massachusetts; Ethan Herndon of California, Brandon Buckman of Texas; Brian Buckman of Ft. Smith; Brenton Buckman, Bradley Buckman and Jalyn O'Gorman all of Belleville; great-grandson, Mason Glenn Buckman of Ft. Smith. Services will be Friday,10 AM, November 14, 2014 at the Havana Assembly of God Church with Brother Bob Caldwell officiating. Interment at Russell Cemetery, Belleville. Pallbearers will be Dallas Herndon, Ethan Herndon, Brandon Buckman, Brian Buckman, Brenton Buckman, Bradley Buckman, Jayln O'Gorman, Johnny Murray and Tras Pfeifer.
