Glinda Sue (White) Carroll, 79, of Dardanelle, Arkansas, passed away at her home on August 6, 2026. Born on May 12, 1947, in Quitman, Texas, Glinda was the daughter of M. L. White and Irene Ruth Morgan White. She was united in marriage to Ronnie Carroll, and together they shared 61 years of love, faith, and devotion.

Glinda worked as an inspector for the USDA before her retirement. She was a faithful member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church in Chickalah. She found joy in crocheting, knitting, gardening, caring for hummingbirds, and especially horses. One of her greatest ministries was making prayer shawls for those battling cancer and baby blankets for families throughout Yell County, touching countless lives with her kindness and servant’s heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Patsy M. Summers.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Ronnie Carroll; her sons, Stephen Carroll and wife Kathy, and Brent Carroll; her chosen daughter, Carrie Reynolds and husband Scotty; her chosen grandchildren, Whitney Reynolds, Brooke Reynolds, Tyler Reynolds, and Brayden Reynolds; her chosen great-grandchildren, Briggs Reynolds and Presley Alvarez; her nephew, Robbie Hemmer and wife Camille; their daughter, Samantha Hemmer; along with many extended family members and dear friends.

Glinda will be remembered for her unwavering faith, generous spirit, compassionate heart, and the many lives she blessed through acts of love and service. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service for Glinda will be held at 10:00A.M., Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle with Mike Owen officiating.
