Grace Dean George age 93 of Dardanelle died Sunday, September 4 at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab. She was born December 12, 1917 in Casa to the late Arthur Lee and Maggie Rainey Mahan. She was a retired USDA inspector and a member of the Dardanelle Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Bill George, a son, John George, brothers, John Mahan, Alvin Mahan and James Mahan and sisters, Ruth Fitch and Faye Claxton.

Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Bolin and Wayne of Maumelle; son, Kenny George and Carol of Dardanelle; two step-daughters, Mary Hickerson of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Patsy Duvall of Shreveport, Louisiana; two sisters, Marie Erwin of Perryville; Dessa Eiler of Yuma, Arizona; a brother, Kenneth Mahan of Chicago, Illinois ; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday, September 7, 2:00 PM at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Bro. Chris George officiating. Burial will be in Mt. George Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Bolin, Scott George, Bill Lancaster, Jeremy Alvarez, Nick Holly and Jack Manatt.
