Grover Cleveland

Grover Armon Cleveland, age 89, died July 4th, 2011. He was born January 7th, 1922 at Booneville, AR to Frank Cleveland and Tissie Basinger Cleveland, preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and one brother. He was a member of the Dardanelle Missionary Baptist Church. He worked 22 years for Boeing and Cessna Air Craft Companies at Wichita, Kansas and Sims Wood Shop for 10 years. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Elmeda, one son Gary Cleveland of Dardanelle, one daughter and son-in-law, Glen and Debbie Young of Atkins, one sister Judy ONeal of Greenwood, five grandchildren, Christina and her husband Marcus Whitley of Wooster (near Conway), Michael Young and his wife Leslie of Conway, Jesse Cleveland and his wife Sarah of Atkins, Kathryn Young of Atkins, Kayla Cleveland of Dardanelle, three great great grandchildren and one on the way Cade and Anna Whitley of Wooster, Karley Havens of Atkins, three nephews and two nieces out of state. Funeral services will be held 2:00P.M. , Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Cornwell Chapel, Dardanelle with Bro. Tom McElmurry officiating. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery. Visitation will be open Wednesday, 1:00P.m. to 8:00P.M.

Pallbearers: Harold Carter, Glen Young, Michael Young, Jesse Cleveland, Marcus Whitley, Jerry Carter.
