Grover "G" Cleveland Colbert age 94 of Rover passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at his home.

He was born December 7, 1921 in Plainview, AR. to the late Grover C. & Bertha Jane Blackwood Colbert. G was a member of the United Plainview Methodist Church. He was a WWll Navy Veteran and a carpenter. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Irbydale Padgett Colbert; son, Jim Colbert; and 8 slibings.

Survivors include his daughter, Mary Rothfus of Rover; grandsons, Michael Rothfus of Jacksonville; Christopher Rothfus of Little Rock; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law James & Kim Padgett of Russellville; Elmer & LaVada Padgett of Russellville; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 10 am Saturday, July 9, 2106 at the Danville Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Salem Cemetery in Plainview. Visitation will be 9 to 10 am before service at the chapel.
