Gwendolyn Dixie May age 90 of Slaton, TX. passed away June 24, 2022.

Gwendolyn was born January 14, 1932 to the late Otis Bryan and Lou Alice Williams Billingsley. She was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ. She married Joseph Lee Roy May on December 23, 1950 in Yell County, Arkansas. Shortly after, they moved to Eudora, KS where they lived many years and raised their girls.

Preceded in death by her husband; parents; siblings, Sarah Imogene Walters, Darrel Otto Billingsley, Emma Evelyn Mitchell, Alice Dale Whala, and Louetta Everett Hance.

Survivors include her daughters, Kerry Stephens (Greg), and Tammy Elliott (Bill); grandchildren, Michael Stephens (Ashley), Jonathan Stephens, Megan Elliott, and Kristin Elliott; great-grandchildren, Zackery Stephens, Matthew Stephens, Ayden Crawford, Kaylee May Stephens, and Allison Stephens; great-great-grandchild, Atticus Stephens; brother, Dexter Monroe Billingsley (Helen); many beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Friday, July 1, 2022 at the Nola Church of Christ in Nola, Arkansas. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, June 30, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Point Lookout Cemetery in Parks, Arkansas.

Pallbearers include Michael Stephens, Jonathan Stephens, Matthew Stephens, Larry Mitchell, Mark Mitchell, and Kevin Billingsley.

Honorary pallbearers include Kent Billingsley and Keith Billingsley.
