Hanson Haynes Hamrick age 89 of Danville passed away Friday, March 4, 2022 at Arkansas River Valley Hospice in Russellville.

Hanson was born July 27, 1932 in Richwood, West Virginia to the late George Justice & Flossie Leo Lynch Hamrick. He was a member Eagles Lodge in Russellville and a honorary member of the VFW in Russellville. He owned and operated Hock-It-To-Me Pawn Shop in Danville for many years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharlie Hamrick; parents; daughter, Sheryl Hamrick; daughter-in-law Jody Hamrick; and 11 sisters and brothers.

Survivors include his sons, Jerry Hamrick of Danville; Mark & Cecilia Hamrick of Dardanelle; Kent Hamrick of Dover; Hanson Haynes "Jr." & Tori Hamrick of Jonesboro; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren; niece, Linda Combs of TN.; nephew, Ronnie Combs of Ohio; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Jay & Shirley Lewis of Carlsbad, NM.; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, March 12, 2022 at the Danville United Methodist Church with Bro. Ton Sullinger officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm Friday, March 11 at the funeral home.

Burial will be private (family only) at Earl Ladd Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Michael May, Robert, Ricky, Tres, and Noah Hamrick.
