Obituary

Harold Eugene Gillum age 84 of Rover passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Chambers Memorial Hospital. He was born July 20, 1930 in Wing, Arkansas to the late John R. & Irene Lazenby Gillum. He was a 21 years retired Master Sargent US Air Force Veteran, he also retired from the Forrest Service. Harold was a cattle rancher and a member of the Rover Baptist Church and American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harry Franz Gillum; sister, Johnnie Sue Willis. Survivors include his wife of 59 years Wilma Louise Parker Gillum; sons John Gillum of Little Rock; Danny Gillum of Rover; Ken and Michelle Gillum of Springdale; grandchildren, Alicia Gillum of Springdale; Brandon Fetner of Bryant; Makayla Fetner; Shania Fetner all of McAlister. OK; Hunter Bishop; Cooper Bishop; Macie Bishop; Rykar Bishop all of Ward; Daniel Brook of Oregon and Dana Brooks of Danville; brother Pat Gillum of Arkadelphia; sisters Janette Workman of Grove OK; Barbara Arrington of Vicksburg, MS.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at the Rover Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Shipley & Rev. Robert Harrison officiating. Burial will be at Hunts Chapel Cemetery. Visitation 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. before service at the church. Pallbearers include William Price, Steve Matheson, Joe Pickens, Ron Beahm, Rick Lawrence Randy Parker and Jon McKinnon.
