Harold Wayne Tharp age 79 of Danville passed away Monday, May 25, 2015 at Arkansas Hospice Care in Russellville. He was born August 16, 1935 in Ola, Arkansas to the late Alva C. & Inez Mitchell Tharp. He had served in the Army National Guard and he retired after 39 years at Wayne Farms. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of 54 years Charlene Bowerman Tharp; children, Jeff Tharp of Danville; Jennifer & Greg Ridenour of Waldron; Jill Tharp of Danville; grandchildren, Lacey, Jared, Mykenzie, and Tenae; brothers, Mitchell & Linda Tharp of Belleville; Lee Roy Tharp of Pocola, OK; sister-in-law, Betty & Don Frame of Danville; brother-in-law, Butch & JoAnn Bowerman of Belleville; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 28, 2015 at The Danville Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John McCourt officiating. Burial will be at Earl Ladd Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. before service at the chapel. Pallbearers include Rusty Tharp, Tracy Tharp, Michael Hance, Anthony Moats, Austin Biggs and Larry Mitchell.
