Joe Via Harold Joe Via age 73 of Dardanelle died Thursday, October 31, 2013 at his home. He was born April 7, 1940 at Birta to the late Jeff and Clara Tanner Via. He loved to hunt and fish and spending time with his family. He worked for Tyson Foods for over 30 Years. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, L.C. "Pete" Via, Charles "Dick" Via, Jimmy Via. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Margaret "Sissy" Via of Dardanelle; one daughter, Lesa Chisum and husband Mike of Dardanelle; three sisters, Dortha Lawson and husband Bob of Pine Bluff, Alma Boyce and husband Bill of Pine Bluff, Ann harwood and husband Jim of Dardanelle; one brother, Lynn Via of Ola; two grandsons, Cody Chisum, Cory Chisum both of Dardanelle and many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Monday, November 4, 2013 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Rev. Mike Chisum officiating. Burial will be in Graves Cemetery in Delaware. Visitation will be held Sunday, 2:00P.M. to 4:00P.M. at the chapel. Pallbearers will be Johnny Blackford, Jim Harwood, Cody Chisum, Cory Chisum, Bobby Applegate, Rick Butler. Honorary Pallbearers will be John Mulligan, Bob Parks, Dr. Isley, Jack Manatt, Greg Brewer, Brian McElroy. Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home in Dardanelle.
