Hazel Christen Bottoms age 90 of Danville passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith.

Christen was born May 7, 1932 in Bigelow, Arkansas to the late Lem & Floy Irene Stain Webb. She was a member of the Danville United Methodist Church and she was very active at the Leon Milsap Senior Center. She enjoyed playing bean bag baseball, dressing up for every occasion they had and helping decorate the center.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marvin Bottoms, daughter, Patsy Gray; son, Lynn Bottoms; grandson, John Short Jr.; great-grandson, Drew Bottoms; sisters, Linda Nash and Mary Adams; brothers, Bobby Webb Sr.; Billy Webb and Leroy Webb Sr.

Survivors include her children, Melvin & Sandy Bottoms; Shirley & Johnny Short; Glenn Bottoms all of Belleville; Karen Meek & Terry Miller of Mt George; sister, Judy Carlin of Hot Spring; brothers, Frankie Webb of Dewitt; Wesley Webb of Hot Spring; Tommy Webb of Bryant; Larry Webb of Hot Springs; 19 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am Friday, August 12, 2022 at the Danville United Methodist Church with Bro Tom Sullinger officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home. A private burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
