Helen Beth Ashley Herring age 88 of Danville passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Chambers Memorial Hospital. Helen was born September 9, 1926 in Plainview, Arkansas to the late Bob & Myrtis Light Ashley. She was a Christian and lived most of her life in Danville, during her life she worked for Dr. Hester, Joe Ray's Poultry, Wayne Farms and retired from Yell County Record due to her health. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Floyd Herring. Survivors include her sister & brother-in-law, JoAnn & Woodrow Wood of Springdale; nephews Robert "Bobby" & Jane Buford of Springfield, MO; Jason & Jeannie Buford of Ola; nieces, Natasha Beth Wood of Bentonville; Wanda Herring Madden of Buffalo, MO; great-nephews & nieces, Josh Buford of Springfield, Mo; Ashley Sowers of New Haven, CN; Ryan Buford of Ola; Ashton Wood of Bentonville; Anam Sulvetta of Tulsa, OK. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the Danville Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Bob McCool officiating. Burial will be at Earl Ladd Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2015 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Coy Rose, Rick Wood, Jason Buford, Ryan Buford, Bobby Buford and Sonny Madden.
