Helen Eunice Chaffin age 96 of Trumann, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at Stella Manor Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born September 30, 1929 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to the late Eugene Earl Stahl and Nellie Florence Metcalf Stahl. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Trumann and she loved playing golf and spending time with her grandkids. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John N. Chaffin, Jr. and brothers, Bud Stahl and Roger Stephens.

Survivors include her two children, Mike Chaffin (Cindy) of Russellville, Greg Chaffin of Trumann; grandchildren, Nathaniel Chaffin of Russellville, Andrew Chaffin (Heather) of Fort Smith; great grandchildren, Savannah Chaffin, Trace Chaffin, Andi Johnson all of Russellville, Henley Chaffin and Remi Chaffin both of Fort Smith and special friends, April Petite, Mary Hughes and the staff at Stella Manor Nursing and Rehab Center.

Memorial services are pending through Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, Arkansas.
