Helen Laymon Helen Virginia Laymon age 92 of Dardanelle died Friday March 13, 2015 at her home. She was born May 17, 1922 at Lyndon, Kansas to the late Jacob L. and Laura B. McFarland Heavilin. She was a home maker and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dardanelle. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herman C. Laymon; brothers, Warren Heavilin, Dean Heavilin, Ralph Heavilin; sisters, Kathryn Heavilin Taylor, Mary Heavilin. Survivors include her son, James E. Laymon of Dardanelle; grandchildren, Tracy D. Laymon, Dana R. Ferguson; great grandchild, Destiny Laymon. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday March 18, 2015 at Cornwell Chapel with Bro. Jim Benfer officiating. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle. Visitation will be held from 12:30PM to 2:00PM prior to service.
