Helen Virginia McAlister age 72 of Dover passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Legacy Heights Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born December 25, 1948 in Russellville, Arkansas to the late James Robert Wheeler and Annis Marlor Wheeler. She was a Christian of the Lutheran Faith. Helen loved gardening and sewing. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James D. McAlister and one daughter, Jamie McAlister.

Survivors include two children, Jim McAlister (Carla), Melissa Talkington (David); one sister, Betty Brown; six grandchildren, Jessica Brown (Tim), Ashley McAlister (Bobby), Mickey McAlister, Elizabeth Talkington (Joey), Lauren Pipkin (Alex), Isaac Talkington and six great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00A.M., Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Pollard Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle.
