Herman B. Peters III, age 80, of Russellville, passed away Monday, September 26, 2022. Originally from Montevallo, Alabama, he earned a Bachelor Degree in History from the University of Montevallo and a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from the University of Alabama-Birmingham. After retiring from Altec Industries in Birmingham, Alabama in 2005, Herman and his wife Charlotte settled in Russellville, Arkansas. He was an avid reader and a member of the 16 ^th Street Church of Christ in Russellville.

He was the son of Herman Jr. and Geraldine Peters. He is survived by his bride of 28 years, Charlotte (Wood) Peters; his daughter, Ginger Alexander; son, Lance Yaerger; three grandchildren, Nathan and Madison Alexander and Emily Yaerger, and three great grandchildren, Carter and Ava Alexander and Christopher Yaerger-McNair.

Visitation will be held at 9:00A.M., Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at the First Assembly of God Church Building at 1940 State Hwy 22 in Dardanelle. Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Wednesday at the church following visitation with Mike Pittman officiating.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Stella Manor Nursing and Rehab for their guidance during Herman's journey with Alzheimer's Disease.
