Hilda Davis

Hilda Mae Davis age 85 of Delaware died Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Dardanelle Nursing Center. She was born October 18, 1926 at Delaware to the late Robert Milton and Johnnie Ann Roper Shoemaker. She was a member of the Delaware First Baptist Church and was an excellent quilter. She loved to quilt and loved planting Irisis. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; four brothers, Desmond Shoemaker, Farris Shoemaker, Robert Loyd Shoemaker and Gerald Shoemaker; one sister, Florence Lynn.

Survivors include two sisters, Athalea Deeds of Delaware, Ruby Floyd of Delaware and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held 10:00A.M., Friday, October 21, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Delaware with Bro. Wiley Jones officiating. Burial will be in Graves Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Tom Heald, Jasper Ramsey, James Rankin, Lawrence Vaughn, Carl Hillis, Bob Ralston.
