Homer Ballinger Homer Garvin Ballinger age 74 of Dardanelle died Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at his home. He was born September 17, 1937 at Mt. George to the late Jimmie Lee and Edith Florene Garner Ballinger. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, "Jim" Marion Ballinger, Jackie "Red" Ballinger, Tommy Ballinger and one sister, Mary Theman. Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey Ballinger of Linwood, California, David Ballinger and wife Jennifer of Oak Park, Illinois; two step children, Michelle Dogla of California and Greg Damron and wife Cherri of Clarksville; two brothers, Willie Jay Ballinger of Atkins, Earl Ballinger of Dallas; six sisters, Betty Barnes of Ola, Billie Nash of Dardanelle, Tommie Liska of Centerville, Pam Cox of Hot Springs, Pansy Nail of Ola, Joyce Smith of Ola; one aunt, Jewell Hancock of Dardanelle; one grandchild, Alexandria Ballinger of Oak Park, Illinois; three step grandchildren, Derick Damron, Jerrod Damron, Forrest Damron all of Clarksville; and a host of nephews and nieces. Graveside services will be held at 10:00A.M., Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Mt. George Cemetery with Bro. Chris George officiating. Pallbearers will be Chris Prince, Bobby Underwood, Gene Littleton, Zack Reece, Kenneth Davenport, Henry Mills. Arrangements by Cornwell Funeral Home, Dardanelle.
