Ida Mae Mayberry gained her wings on January 23, 2021.

She was born on November 9 ^th 1941 in Aransas Pass, Texas. Ida loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always enjoyed cooking her homemade biscuits for everyone. She would take biscuits to doctors, police departments, car dealerships and anyone else she loved. She trusted everyone and would give people her last penny. She gave her time cooking and love freely to everyone. She loved to dance and was always the life of the party.

She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Isabel Rios Allen and James Harima Allen; father, Christopher Smith; her first love, Leon Mayberry; father-in-law, to whom she took such great care of, Arliss Mayberry; daughter, Debra Mayberry; brothers, Oscar and Marvin Smith; sisters, Doris Reierson and Mary Beatrice Johnson.

Survivors include her sons, David & Brenda Mayberry; Michael & Lori Mayberry; Russell Mayberry; daughter, Stephanie & Barry Denton; her partner, Walter (Dinky) Scott; sister, Bonnie & Monroe Mayberry; grandsons, Shawn, Mason &Ryan, Mayberry, Logan & Toby Roberson, Brack, Draegan and Seger Denton; granddaughters, Tabitha & Shawna Mayberry; Tisha Mayberry; Marissa Mayberry; great-grandchildren, Riley Manning, Jade Mayberry, Ethan, Rylan, Colton & Jarrett Mayberry; Mason Jr. & Marcia Mayberry; Gunner, Bentley, Peyton, and Hailey Brothers, Tatum Rae Roberson; and a host of family and friends.

Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Friday, January 29, 2021 at Reed Cemetery in Story.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.
