Ida Parks

Ida Mary Parks age 86 of Dardanelle died Monday, September 12, 2011 at Saint Marys regional Medical Center. She was born July 2, 1925 at Dardanelle to the late William and Mae Smith. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Dardanelle. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Dub Snider; one son, Carrell Snider; one granddaughter, Angie Snider Haston; three brothers, Bill Smith, Fred Smith, Charlie Smith; six sisters, Lara Benefield, Clara Harkey, Deanna King, Lilly Mongold, Edna King, Ruby Wilson.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Parks of Dardanelle; four daughters, Juanita Sims of Dardanelle, Karen Lee of Russellville, Judy Sanders of Dardanelle, Joyce Le and husband Phu of North Little Rock; two sons, Bill Snider and wife Diane of Atkins, Ricky Snider and wife Sandy of Atkins; two sisters, Pat Myers of Texas, Goldie Purtell of Oklahoma; sixteen grandchildren; numerous great and great great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:00P.M., Friday, September 16, 2011at Cornwell Chapel, Dardanelle with Bro. David Jay officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery, Dardanelle. Visitation will be held Thursday, 6:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at the funeral home. Pallbearers: Mike Cossey, Tracy Cossey, Eddie Harris, Jeff Harris, Steve Snider, Jackson Lee.
