Ina Gail Hunt age 78 of Belleville passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith.
Ina was born May 27, 1948 in Danville, Arkansas to the late Dee & Florence Taylor Catlett. She was a member of the Gateway Pentecostal Church in Russellville, and she was also a Home Health Caregiver. She was a devoted pastor’s wife for many years.
Mema loved being with her family and grandkids more than anything.
Her favorite time of the year was Christmas—she loved watching her grandkids open their gifts, and she always insisted they be opened one at a time so she could savor every moment. She also loved camping every year, especially over Memorial Day weekend with her friends and family. And for years, she cherished her special outings with Wilma, right up until the two of them were no longer physically able to go.
Anyone who knew Mema knew that if she wasn’t at home, there was a good chance you’d find her at Walmart. She could walk in for one thing and come out two hours later with a full cart—and somehow it was
always exactly what everybody needed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Roy Steven Hunt; brothers, J.D. Catlett, Herbert Catlett, W.O. Catlett, Ledean Catlett, and sister, Verzine Bell.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years Rev. Delbert Hunt; son, Tim & Angie Hunt; daughter-in-law, Angie Hunt; grandchildren, Michael & Samantha Eubanks, Ashley Hunt, Lyndsey & Josh Foster, Wesley Robinson, Logan & Marli Hunt, and Landry & Katie Hunt, 12 great-grandchildren and one on the way; and a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends.
Graveside service will be 10:00 am Monday, August 3, 2026 at the Moores Chapel Cemetery in Waveland.
Pallbearers include Michael Eubanks, Josh Foster, Wesley Robinson, Logan Hunt, Landry Hunt, and Bradley Catlett.
Honorary pallbearers, Herbert Catlett, Dylan Robinson, Wesley Horn and Robert Sims
