Agnes "Inez" Ward age 91 of Danville died August 14, 2012, with her family by her side. She was born October 28, 1920, in Havana, Arkansas, to the late Erving and Lela Torbitt Mott of Havana. She was a member of the Associated Reform Presbyterian Church of Havana. She will be remembered forever as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and a friend to everyone. She is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years Ted Ward and son-in-law Hoyt Ensey of Danville. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Sara Ward of Fayetteville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sarah and Ronnie Jackson of Dover and Sue and Charles Spivey of Morrilton; one sister and brother-in-law, Johnnie and Bill Dunford of Fort Smith; four grandsons, Charles Ensey of Lavaca, Phillip Spivey of Conway. Aaron Spivey of Morrilton, and Vince Ward of Little Rock; one granddaughter, Connie Myers of Dover; two great-grandsons, Austin Myers and Mitchell Spivey, three great-granddaughters, Rachael Robinson, Lizzie Spivey and Clara Spivey; one great great-granddaughter Lealah Robinson; and two special nieces Joni McCloskey and Jill Dunford. A very special "thank you" to her Mitchell Nursing Home family of Danville, Legacy Heights Nursing Home & Rebab of Russellville, and the Arkansas Department of Health's Division of Hospice Care, who were there for her and her family in a time of need. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 17, 2012, at 2:00, in Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Danville. Visitation will be held at 1:00 prior to the service in the chapel.
