Ira D. Bly, age 79 of Birta, Arkansas entered into his final nap on March 10, 2021. He was born to the late T.H. and Clarice (Dempsey) Bly, on March 3, 1942 in Mojave, California.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Howard Bly, "Dempsey" Bly; sisters, Patricia Bly, Iris Gale Williams; the mother of his daughters, Lynda Crafton; two granddaughters and two great granddaughters.

He left to cherish his memory, his wife of 38 years, Marie; children, Jessie Samson, Barbara (O.J.) Williams, Bobbie Noblett, Rebecca (A.J.) Kunkel, Robert Bly, Hilda (Lee) McRae, Angela Bly, Sam Bly; Brother, Odie (Pat) Bly; sister, Leola (Charles) Rose; sisters-in-laws, Bonnie Bly, Betty Robinson; twenty seven grandchildren; twenty five great grands; two great great grands; brother-in-law, Burchie (Janet) Lewis; sister-in-law, Wanda (Dennis) Flinn; plus too many cousins, nieces and nephews to name; but they know how much D loved them, and cherish the memories. He loves his wonderful church family from Branded By Christ Cowboy Church, and friends from all over the country.

D was a hard worker all of his life, and helped so many people. He graduated from Ola High School in 1959. D had many jobs, but he loved wood working the most. He was a contract welder and worked construction for about 40 years. After he retired, he loved to build things. His wooden projects are in the homes of several friends and family. He loved helping others in any way he could. He will be missed by so many, but one day, we will all meet again in our Heavenly Home with our Lord and Savior.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021, 5:00P.M. to 8:30P.M. at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

His family would like to thank the staff at Chambers Hospital in Danville and the staff at Baptist Hospital in North Little Rock.
