Ira Jasper Hambright age 95 of Danville passed away Monday, January 26, 2026 at Chambers Memorial Hospital.

Ira was born February 1, 1930 in Amorita, Oklahoma to the late Walter Lee & Ida Bell Broom Hambright. He was a member of the Ola First Baptist Church. And a retired painter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Alene Hambright, and sister Ethel Mae Mitchell, grandchildren, Candy Bruce and William P. Bruce.

Survivors include his daughters, Ethel Bruce, Ida Yvonne Kelsay, Athenia Elinor Weaver and Julie Roselyn Hambright; grandson, David Bruce; great-grandchildren, David P. Bruce and Tiffani Nicole Bruce.

Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday February 4, 2026 at the Casa Cemetery.
