Ira Lee Harper age 87 of Dardanelle died Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at his home. He was born February 17, 1930 at Logan County to the late Ira Mack and Gertie May Atkinson Harper. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Louella Mae Harper; one son, Ira Mack Harper Sr.; one brother, Leon Harper and one sister, Dr. Bobbie Hopkins.

Survivors include his children, Leslie Faulkner, Dorothy Harper, Jackie Harper Bowers, Regina Harper Gist; numerous grandchildren, grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Friday, July 28, 2017 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Pastor Jerry Stone and Pastor Bud Avants officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at the chapel. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Booneville.

Pallbearers will be Larry Chambers Jr., Ira Mack Harper Jr., Seth Faulkner, Donald Judkins, Timothy Harper, Will Bowers, Chris harper, Trey Harper.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy Manes Jr., Chandler manes, Tony Harper, Jacky George.
