Irene Davis

Irene Catherine Davis age 71 of Dardanelle died Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Battiest, Oklahoma while spending Christmas with family. She was born April 29, 1944 at Austinberg, Germany to the late Charles and Ruth Ann Wirzfeld Murphy. She was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Dardanelle. She loved working in her yard and was always lending a helping hand to anyone in need. Most of all, she was an amazing Mother and Grandmother and friend to so many. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Michael Davis and her brother, George Murphy.

Survivors include three children, Robert Davis (Julie Moore) of Virginia, Heidiann Davis (Kris) of Perry, Woodrow Davis (Shelley) of Virginia; three grandchildren, Robert Davis of Virginia, Ryan Blackwell of Perry, Jacob Davis of Virginia; two uncles, Robert Wirzfeld (Thelma) and Nicolas Wirzfeld (Betty) all of Little Rock .

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 P.M., Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Visitation will be held from 1:00- 2:00 prior to service at the Chapel.
